SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it is alarmed regarding the superior amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office devoted to service the area daily. The services point produced for intervention ordeals a large influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it complicated to the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.
